Who is American Century Home? American Century Home Fabrics is an international converter/manufacturer of popular priced upholstery and multipurpose fabrics. We also design and engineer decorative bedding ensembles and decorative pillows. Currently we are one of North America's leaders in "cut and sew" bedding products. To support our growing business, we have over 35 independent representatives servicing our broad range of customers nationwide. We inventory in excess of 8000 SKU's of various fabrics in our distribution facility to service our diversified customer base. Our Success Story American Century Home Fabrics is a major manufacturer and converter of popular priced upholstery and multi purpose fabrics as well as a major cut and sew resource for major retailers ( such as Target, Kohl's, Belk ) of the United Sates and Europe. The company was founded in New York, NY and is regarded as one of the major suppliers to the American Home Furnishings Industries. The company headquarters is now located in the Building of Century at the 5200 S. Main Street, Salisbury, North Carolina     ( the furniture and furnishings capital of the world.)  Additionally our state-of-the-art distribution facility (which is over one half million square feet) is located in Salisbury, North Carolina. We also have a showroom in High Point, NC. Our New York showroom is located at 7 West 34th Street. American Century Home Fabrics is positioned to continue growth on average of 20-25% each year. As we acquire more and more market share, we are expanding our line beyond our vision and become much more dominant in the home furnishings Industries. Additionally we also have a showroom in Tupelo, Mississippi and Shanghai city, HangZhou city , Jiaxing city and Haining city in the East of China. How Are We Different? American Century Home stands apart from the competition in two distinct ways. First, American Century is a converter, manufacturer, and distributor of upholstery, multi purpose, cut and sew fabrics, and home fashion products. As a converter, we have the ability to sell direct to large users (furniture manufacturers, retail fabric stores, pillow manufacturers, bedding distributors and chain stores) bypassing he middle men who drive jobber prices out of these markets. By operating our own cut and sew facility we are able to maintain a closer proactive overview of all products being produced in China as well as a turnaround time advantage. We operate a 570,000 square foot shipping and receiving plant with full EDI capabilities in N.C. USA. i.e. For cut order division, we will ship all orders the next day if the order is received prior to 3:00 PM. We stock over 2 million yards of decorative fabrics and over 1.5 million finished product units in our own warehouse. This gives us a stronger position with shorter lead times for final product delivery. Second, American Century Home Fabrics has its own in-house design team. Our design team is consisting of multi talented group of artists and textile designers from various countries. With our designers, and the use of their CAD systems, we are able to design, create, and color virtually any woven fabric that can be imagined. This, coupled with a very progressive sampling philosophy in China, gives us the most competitive edge. We are very proud of our accomplishments towards providing innovative new products, superior service and very competitive prices.
